True, it's incredibly tough for non-technical founders to find a tech co-founder on a partnership basis. Your idea of funding the initial build is a really smart workaround. It proves you're serious and gives you a tangible product to show investors or potential partners. The only real risk is making sure the code is solid so a future co-founder won't hate it and want to rebuild.
