The hardest part isn’t coming up with ideas. It’s figuring out which ones are worth building and which should be left on the drawing board. Day2 - Feature Shortlisting & Project Planning After mapping out all possible features, use cases, and crazy what-ifs for the wireless sensor network. Figuring out which features are essential for impact and practical to deliver for the first version. Personally, I love using Miro for overflowing mind maps and Notion to structure and document my thoughts. When it’s time to get serious about timelines and project management, free versions of tools like ClickUp or Asana are both fantastic options that help break the vision into real tasks with real deadlines. For my MVP, Here’s the architectural blueprint: Master Node: Acts as the network coordinator, manages data, talks to the cloud, and provides a RS485 for peripheral device connection. Slave Nodes: Collect all the environmental and crop health data, handle local measurements, and report efficiently back to the master. Next up: rolling up my sleeves for prototyping!
