There is no Rs 23 lakh GOLDEN VISA to Dubai. Yet again, media and influencers fooled the world, made clicks and disappeared. And it was all amply clear from Day 1. Let me explain. .. Days ago there was a big hype in the media, that Dubai had launched a Rs 23 lakh Golden Visa program for up to 5k Indians and Bangladeshis on a nomination basis. Mind it. The limit here was 5k. Yet, influencer brigade pounced on it and made it about how Indian spaying any taxes would now leave the country, and then nothing will be left in India. And while all of this was going on, I categorically chose to not write on this for one specific reason. What was that? There was no official notification or word on this from the Govts in UAE. .. It was clear on day 1, that something was off. Because such a big development happens, and media is citing what as source? A private company which helps people settle in Dubai? This was fishy from the very seed of it. Yet, no body applied brains, birthed a circus, one reel, post, tweet at a time, and made a ton of clicks and money. And now, the UAE Govt has officially come out and stated on record - No such programs exists. .. Result? It was all fake news. This is why I say it all the time, read news, but also question what sounds beyond obvious. Because most often, it’s always a lie or an exaggeration. So many examples around us. And most important of all - CHOOSE YOUR INFLUENCERS WISELY. There is no Rs 23 lakh GOLDEN VISA to Dubai. Yet again, media and influencers fooled the world, made clicks and disappeared.
