Back in May 2024, me and my seniors built and launched an automated photo booth. The idea was simple: Customers scan a QR code, pose, and receive two cute polaroid-style prints instantly — all for just ₹40. Everything worked smoothly. Our first launch was at RV College (one of the top colleges in Bangalore) and the next at our own campus. It was a hit. But one mistake: the machine was too bulky. We ended up spending most of the profits on transporting it from one place to another. Eventually, we all got placed in good jobs and didn’t pursue it further. Now, every time I see photo booths at malls, I think “We had that idea first.” Biggest regret? Not scaling it when we could have. So if you’re sitting on an idea you truly believe in… Start. Build. Learn. Execute. Don’t wait for perfection. You never know what it could become.
