Project – Blockchain-Based Drug Authentication System. During my 4th semester, I had the opportunity to work on a project aimed at reducing scams in the medical industry – MediScan, a Blockchain-powered Drug Authentication System. Purpose: The project addresses the growing issue of counterfeit medicines in the wholesale and retail pharmaceutical market. How It Works: Each medicine, during manufacturing, is tagged with a unique QR code—generated and authenticated only through the MediScan App. By integrating blockchain, this ensures secure verification, traceability, and eliminates duplication or fraud in drug distribution.
