I don't fully agree with this. Although I agree with most examples mentioned, remember that with such a big number of STEM graduates each year, our innovation has remained much lower. There is no major innovation happening in startups. You can say that the government doesn't allocate enough budget for R&D, but even startup founders who achieve big exits from their previous startups are again putting their money into the same, even more traditional, safe businesses to ensure returns. They are also not willing to take risks. We need to rise above this jugaad mentality and try to build products made in India for the world.
