VCs and investors are just the capital providers . Ofcourse they should have a clear idea about what's going around but are they legally responsible ?? Ofcourse no. The brunt and blame usually goes to the founder who should, in the first place avoid financial mismanagements and make sure his employees are well provided. It looks slightly off but welcome to the reality , this is what happens
