I recently rewrote my personal blog (flightlessbug.xyz) in SvelteKit. Originally i started with Hanshode and later almost forgot about it but when i realised i had a blog to continue i decided to implement it myself. The blog is written in Svelte and Sveltekit with AppWrite backend. It uses markdown files to render the blog which are fetched form Appwrite Database and Cloudflare r2 storage is used to store images and larger files. This is currently hosted on Cloudflare Pages with a custom domain. Overall i am satisfied with this and wanted to share it. Currently it has only the older posts from a year ago and i will be writing new ones very soon.

How come cloud storage services like Dropbox and Google Drive are cheaper than Cloudflare R2 and Amazon S3? Do you have any suggestions for reducing cloud storage costs? I know that R2 doesn't charge for egress.
