As a user and developer, I found it lacking in a few key areas: ❌ It doesn’t remember past messages — breaking conversation flow. ❌ Struggles with logical or story-based interpretation. ❌ Feels like a repackaged Google Search, not a real assistant. For learners or deep thinkers, it’s more shallow than smart. 📉 SEO & Website Impact AI Mode gives full answers upfront — reducing the need to visit actual websites. This could: Drop traffic for publishers and educators. Show content without crediting creators meaningfully. Break the creator-reader connection. ⚖️ Final Thought AI Mode is clever — but its placement inside Search might harm the open web. It helps users get faster answers but risks taking away interaction, visibility, and value from original content. Is this really the future we want — fast answers at the cost of real connection?
