My Story: Part 3 -The New Dawn When COVID struck, the world stopped—and so did our orders. 18 workers couldn't go. With zero income, we still paid half salaries for two brutal months. It wasn’t business anymore—it was survival. When the dust settled, we restarted with new machinery and loyal people. We built again—but orders were only 30% of preCOVID. Then came the 2nd wave—fiercer, crueler. This time, we were scared. Rock bottom was right beneath our feet. As the 2nd wave faded, a storm of entrepreneurship rose. Everyone wanted to start a business—especially in fashion. Brands didn’t matter anymore—design and price ruled. We knew, it's time to pivot, or perish. We shifted from B2C to B2B and B2B2C. We used every connection, every lesson learned. Six months, we rose from the ashes. By the end of 2023, we were making 2.5x our preCOVID revenue. Not by chance—but by grit, belief and smart decisions. I don’t call myself a great entrepreneur. But I am, without doubt, a successful one.
