I knew YouTube probably wouldn’t add those things — big companies take years to make such changes, and they might not even benefit from them. So I figured, why not build it myself? While prepping for interviews, I bought a course that looked solid… but by 30% in, it felt like a waste. Repetitive content, bad explanations, and tons of fluff. That’s when it really hit me — YouTube content is already 10x better. What it needs is a smarter layer on top. That’s how BrainyPath started. It took me around 5 months, building solo. I already knew full-stack, but a lot of it was new — researching, designing, solving real user problems. Now a friend has joined me and we’re improving it fast, adding features users are asking for, and yes, we’re also looking for funding to take it further. This wasn’t about building a business first — it was about solving a problem I faced myself.
