𝗔𝗜 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀: A recent report by Meta and Alvarez & Marsal reveals that over 70% of Indian startups have integrated AI across their core business functions. These functions include operations, customer service, product development, marketing, and data analytics. Startups are increasingly deploying tools such as generative AI, large language models (LLMs), recommendation engines, and AI-powered automation. AI is being used to personalize user experiences, enhance customer engagement, and improve efficiency across various processes. The report highlights strong AI adoption in sectors like edtech, healthtech, fintech, logistics, and SaaS. Many startups are incorporating AI into customer support systems, replacing traditional query handling with AI chatbots and virtual assistants. There is a noticeable trend of AI being used in backend tasks like fraud detection, demand forecasting, and churn prediction. Startups are also leveraging AI for advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making, helping optimize product and service offerings. Founders cited increased efficiency, cost reduction, and better decision-making as key reasons for adopting AI. Over 50% of surveyed startups reported that AI has already delivered measurable improvements in operational performance. Indian startups are now developing AI-driven products for export, contributing to the global SaaS and enterprise tech ecosystem. The report suggests that India's AI startup ecosystem is growing rapidly due to improved access to cloud infrastructure, open-source models, and developer talent.
