Hello friends, mentors, and extended network — I usually don’t write things like this, but today I’m sharing something personal and important. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been building something that came straight from a real, personal struggle. As a student, I’ve felt how overwhelming it is to deal with research papers, citations, and note-taking — it takes hours of mental energy that could be used more meaningfully. That’s where the idea of Paperly was born. 🧠 What is Paperly? Paperly is an AI-powered research assistant designed to help students and academic professionals summarize research papers, generate citations in one click, and organize notes — all in a clean, easy-to-use platform. It saves 70–80% of the time people usually spend on academic tasks that honestly should’ve been automated by now. Imagine: Reading a 20-page PDF in 30 seconds. Generating perfect MLA/APA/Chicago citations instantly. No more chaos with random notes — everything is sorted by subject and topic. I’m not trying to build a “cool” tool — I’m solving a very real, very boring, very painful student problem using AI. 🙌 Where I Am Right Now We’ve built the early version — it works. People love the concept. I’ve gotten strong feedback from early testers, students, and even PhD scholars. Now I’m ready to launch Paperly publicly, but I’ve hit that stage every founder quietly faces: the gap between a working product and a working company. ⚡ What I Need To be very real and honest — I need ₹4 lakh immediately to cover: AI infrastructure & server costs Legal & compliance for launch UI/UX polishing and performance scaling Marketing & distribution push This is not charity, not a random “donation” ask. This is simply that one strong helping hand every founder dreams of at the right moment — the point where it either flies or fades. I’ve come this far with my own energy, savings, and sleepless nights — and I’m not asking for sympathy. I’m just saying: if you believe in ideas, students, or honest hard work — maybe this message is for you. 🧭 What I'm Looking For I’m not just looking for money. I’m looking for: An angel, mentor, or advisor who gets what this can be Someone who knows that early-stage support isn’t a favor — it’s a seed Or even someone who can connect me to the right person Whether it’s: A loan A short-term partnership An investment with equity Or just a meaningful intro to someone who can help... ...that single gesture could change the entire story. 🇮🇳 Why This Matters Most Indian students still copy-paste citations manually. Many still read entire PDFs when they just need one paragraph. Some even give up on papers altogether because the process is too slow and hard. Paperly can change that. It’s built by someone who lived the problem, not someone from the outside guessing what students “might” need. I’m 17. I’m not from IIT or IIM (yet). I’m not funded. I’m just doing what I can with clarity, purpose, and a lot of fire. If you’ve ever believed in the spirit of young founders from Bharat solving for Bharat — this is one of those moments. 💬 Final Thoughts I know everyone’s busy. I know money is tight for many. I know this message might be ignored by most. But if even one person here reads this and thinks: “Maybe I can help in some way...” Then this post served its purpose. So to everyone reading — mentors, relatives, seniors, juniors, startup folks, builders, angels — if this feels like something worth supporting or sharing, please DM me. Even a reply, intro, or kind word can be the domino that starts a chain reaction. With gratitude and full honesty, – Ravi S Bhardwaj Founder of Paperly 📩 DM open for anyone who wants to help, advise, or connect.

I’m not a techie. I’m not from IIT or IIM. But I’ve built people. I’ve built trust where there was burnout. I’ve built systems in chaos. In HR and in the community space, I’ve sat with founders in breakdowns and interns in self-doubt. I’ve seen star

📚 The world doesn't need more information. It needs better understanding. That’s why we built Paperly. Every day, students, researchers, builders, and dreamers open PDFs of research papers—only to get overwhelmed. Too long. Too complex. Too slow. W
