🗽 Builder.ai Filed for Bankruptcy After Faking Its AI 📢 > Builder.ai—once a $1.5B London unicorn—has filed for bankruptcy... after it was revealed their “AI platform” was actually humans. Around 700 engineers in India were doing the work while the AI claimed credit. Y'all think isn't it easier to build a AI bot rather than paying for 700 engineers ? But the truth is maintaining the AI bots cost more than 700 unpaid or low paid engineers 🤧 What actually happened with builder.ai ❓ Marketed as a no-code, AI-powered app builder. But in the backend ? Manual coding by teams in India pretending to be bots. By saying customer that there's great traffic wait for few minutes 🤪 Then Regulatory probe started due to people loosing trust, the y'all know the outcome. 👾 Fall of builder.ai 📉 Suddenly declared bankruptcy despite having Microsoft & Qatar sovereign backing. Engineers were kept in the dark and likely unpaid. Raises serious questions about transparency in tech startup marketing. What can founders learn ? 👀 If your product needs a human to fake AI, you’re selling smoke, not automation. ( They could even build a bot which says some random stuffs if not AI ) AI isn’t just a marketing label — it's a responsibility in many cases. Your comments 👇 > 🚨 Is "human-in-disguise-as-AI" fraud worse than a failed product? 👉 Should we call for stricter regulation on AI claims? Drop your take👇 Tag a founder or investor who’s betting big on “AI” or "AGI 🤣" Maybe for AGI founders will disguise themself as an AGI bot. *This post adhers to all the community guidelines* * Image is AI generated *
