dsa isn't about language its about the problem solving ability, either done in python, c or java really doesn't matter. and if you want to do ai ml just want to be clear it's more about mathematics than cs. it requires shit ton of mathematics. so keep that in mind and make projects, get to know about new tech, read papers, focus on application like robotics n all. and you will become one.
