After being here for 4 months on Medial and constantly doomscrolling🥲, here's what i have observed as far as content moderation is concerned. Although the guidelines are clearly mentioned, sometimes we miss out on reading or understanding them clearly. Hope this helps the new users while they are posting content here. Below is the list of type of content that more often than not gets moderated to my understanding : 1. Irrelevant Content: Posts unrelated to startups, including nudity and profanity. 2. External Links & Personal Contacts: QR codes etc. 3. LinkedIn, Discord, WhatsApp, Instagram, other communities links, or direct WhatsApp numbers. 4. Direct Promotion: Avoid posts explicitly promoting consultancies or services. 5. Sensitive Topics: Political Posts - generally moderated, unless they have a clear, direct, and significant economic impact on our startup ecosystem. 6. Crypto-Related Links 7. Unsolicited Funding Asks: Posts blatantly asking for investment or funding without a clear, set proposal. 8. Posts around Offline Meetups discussions. Hope this helps :)
