there is no need to do anything for them. These 10 min delivery is just a hype. They lack PMF, they are purely built of investors' money. Once that goes away, they will fail. India is a very price sensitive market. Once funding goes away, the fees and charges will increase, the delivery time will increase and hence people will move to general stores only. It is just a matter of time. 2/3 years more and everything will be same again.

People say, we will make these kirana stores tech enabled. but the truth is, it is impossible. Indian streets are filled with such kirana and stationery stores. These stores have uncountable items. It is very difficult to maintain and update stock in real time. You cannot just pick one store and make them your partner, if you do so, ultimately you fall into the place of Zepto and. Blinkit i.e you are prompting some stores whereas other stores are getting less recognition. The market will not be equal for all.

My startup Dukaanomy was just for such small shopkeepers. But I could not take it to the culmination. MVP was ready.

actually, it's about adapting with time..there are shopkeepers who have collaborated with some platforms and are now selling more than the pre quick commerce era... awareness is also one thing.

Awareness is the key, blinkit can keep burning their investor money until making people habituated to laziness, once they start making changes to prices there'll not your local guy to save little bit coz he closed the business sometime ago. Either you have to plan and save from buying in bulk for the month from likes of dmart or pay hefty for items you missed to plan, there will not be a inbetween solution.

Please do not tag this thing in technology, Quick Commerce and food delivery is just convenience not technology

This is a real problem, the technology is only serving a fraction... rest are suffering. And VC money is just killing these businesses, that have employed millions for decades

see everybody is there to earn money but very little ones are available to help others

We need to create something to compete foreign tech giant companies. Don't make business that's ruined our own people. Blinkit is just a hype. making people lazy . It's not a service it's just stealing people's money. local business owners and shopkeepers are getting affected in pan India.

I foresighted this about 8 years ago and planned to change accordingly. (I had been in wholesale and Retail business for about 2 decades). but yes you must anticipate what's coming next. when industries came a lot of craftsmen lost their profession. this is happening now in trade niche. there's nothing much we can do. this is how things will move. traders (I'm one of them) have to adapt.

Quick delivery platforms are good and helpful even delivery person are not getting enough salary and shopkeepers loss.I think should charge good amount of delivery charge for giving products in minutes.Companies will.be in profit.People who can't will purchase from shop.Quick commerce for urgent need and busy person.People who have time can walk to shop.In this profit of quick commerce and employees of that company.
