𝗧𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻. 𝗛𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. The man who could light up the world… couldn’t get a reply. Tesla wrote to JP Morgan for funding. No answer. Years later, he tried Morgan’s son. Still nothing. So he let his dreams rot in his notebooks, while the world moved on. No VC meetings. No startup accelerators. No Shark Tank. Just a genius, begging with a pen. People say “𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐥.” No. Back then, it was a death sentence. Today? You have LinkedIn, Twitter, email, DMs, pitch contests, angel networks. You can literally @ an investor and start a conversation. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐚. Push. Ping. Pitch. Because genius doesn’t win. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬.
