As youtube share ads revenue with content creators, can we make an app for gaming where we can share ads revenue with gamers, who can play so many different games for free in that app and earn as well.

If we hire some one to build our app How can we protect the idea until our app is ready so that it will be hard for others to copy? Or what happens if the developer who we hired likes the idea and builds his own app based on our idea?

Can we get funding based on idea without any results or testing ? If yes where can I get it ?
