📶Telecom Industry in 📉 The telecom companies had to pay a huge amount to the government of India 👇 See the full info : These companies use📻 radio waves (spectrum) to run mobile and internet services. But the government owns that spectrum, so companies have to pay for using it — like paying rent. The amount they have to pay is based on something called AGR (Adjusted Gross 💵Revenue) — which means the total money a company makes, including non-core income. The government takes a share of AGR as fees/taxes. For years, the companies underpaid or avoided paying the full AGR dues. Now, the Supreme Court has said: No discounts. Pay all the pending money. This is a huge financial blow, especially for Vodafone Idea (Vi), which is already in deep financial trouble.↘️ If Vi can’t manage to pay, then it may not be able to continue operating in the future.
