Jeff Bezos's educational summer camp was called The Dream Institute, and he started it in 1980 when he was just 16 years old. The theme of the camp focused on creative thinking, problem-solving, and exploration of topics like space, science fiction, and literature. The target audience was 10-12-year-old students. The fee was $600 per student. The camp had 6 students, including his younger brother. He and his then-girlfriend Ursula "Uchi" Werner co-founded and ran the camp. They created and taught lessons, managed logistics, and handled everything themselves. They used local facilities (probably a rented or donated space in their area in Miami, Florida). With 6 students paying $600 each, the total earnings were $3,600. Even at 16, Jeff Bezos showed leadership, teaching ability, and entrepreneurial vision.
