This is seeking Career Advice... I'm 23, with a 20 LPA remote job. I also have a family business as a fallback. Despite 2 years of experience in cyber security, cloud, and MLOps, I feel plateaued. My passion for technology goes beyond my job, and I'm torn between: 1. Accepting a comfortable life, switching roles, and learning new skills. 2. Preparing for CAT/GATE and aiming for a Tier 1 college. 3. Pursuing a foreign master's -> PhD (I feel i will meet a very like minded community of tech enthusiasts there) (I rarely have seen passion for tech/Computers in general around students in India most of them do code/BTech just as a tool to get job...) 4.Join the family business (retail business outlets) which prolly are making much more than my salary. But not really a field of my expertise.

What a great previliged problems to have :) you're already pulling in 20 LPA with actual experience. Going back to cramming for entrance exams and competing with fresh grads for potentially similar (or even lower starting) salaries after an MBA or M.Tech seems like a massive step backward financially and time-wise imo

You're in a strong position, and it's great that you're thinking deeply about your future. If you're truly passionate about tech and want to grow in that space, pursuing a master's or PhD abroad could connect you with the right community and open new doors. But even staying in your current job while exploring new skills or roles can be fulfilling. Wishing you clarity and success!

machine learning has a Great scope for future remember if u leave the job u will not gain experience and u will not go to top level ..but if the job is stressful and like a slavery of unbearable level leave it. if ur family buisness has double income than ur job than leave the job ..bt remember that business any illiterate can also do ..u have skills and education and also financial stable than go for research and serve the country..(u will not earn enough there). .and don't waste time in preparing competition exam when u are already in better place...but u can give for barc, drdo, isro.
