Why doesn't India have its own GTA or Black Myth: Wukong yet? šŸŽ®šŸ¤” India is one of the biggest gaming markets in the world šŸŒ, yet it still doesn't have any real world-class AAA games. Why not? ā“ A lot of Indian games are in the "beta" stage 🧪 - buggy šŸž, unfinished and usually re-skinned versions of successful hits like PUBG šŸ”«. Many are more interested in monetization šŸ’° than storytelling šŸ“– or originality šŸŽØ. But change is coming. šŸ”„ Some Indian studios are trying local content based on Indian mythology šŸ•‰ļø, history šŸ“œ and culture šŸŽ - titles like Kurukshetra, Mystic Pillars and Metal Haven are proof of this. āœ… The real challenge? āš ļø A small PC/console gaming audience šŸ§‘ā€šŸ’» High development costs šŸ’ø (GTA 6 had a budget of over $2 billion!) šŸ’° Fear of piracy šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø (which is really overblown) But the good news is that PC gaming is growing rapidly in India šŸš€. Steam, Epic and gaming laptops šŸ’» are making good games accessible at affordable prices šŸ›’.

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this, but Dream11 is gradually transforming itself into a gaming company. Recently, there are reports suggesting that they are also developing some PC games.
