I’ve got an idea that targets a sector the tech world has completely ignored: SHGs (Self Help Groups), also known as Mahila Samity. With just 5% market coverage, it has the potential to generate ₹18Cr annually with around 70% profit. 86% of SHG members are women. The platform is not just a marketplace where they can sell homemade and local products like jute bags or bamboo crafts, it’s also a complete SHG management tool: track savings, loans, meetings, attendance, build digital records, and even generate a credit score to make bank loans easier and faster. I’m just 16, from a tier 2 or 3 area (kind of a mix of city and village), and while I have tech and UI design skills, I don’t have the funds to pilot it. I’ve made a 50+ screen UI design and a full business plan. If someone is serious about executing this, I’m open to selling the assets to fund my next idea or buy a laptop that can actually handle my work.
