Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that YC is still pushing crypto ("Stablecoins 2.0") after the absolute bloodbath of the past few years? How many crypto startups from their previous batches have gone to zero? They're trying to rebrand it as "business-focused stablecoin management" but it's the same speculative garbage with a corporate suit on. At least they've seemingly dropped the Web3 nonsense from last year's RFS.

What is this ? Are these applications that YC received ? or YC giving suggestion to build these

The public safety technology section feels really tone-deaf given the current political climate. "Privacy-preserving surveillance" is an oxymoron, and "bridge community-police communication gap" sounds like startup-speak for "help police monitor communities more effectively." These tools inevitably get weaponized against marginalized groups. I'm disappointed YC is actively soliciting startups in this space without acknowledging the ethical complexities.
