Figuring Out • 22d

We all dream of fame, millions of fans, money, and success. But that same stuff can even break you. Today, 9 years ago, Avicii died by suicide. He struggled with mental health issues, anxiety, and the pressure of being in the spotlight. He had everything you can think of—hit songs like The Nights, Levels, Waiting for Love, a $50M net worth, and sold-out shows worldwide. Yet, he still felt lost and meaning less. His family said: "He really struggled with thoughts about meaning, life, happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace." Performing shows drained him, and even after retiring from Music in 2016, he couldn’t escape the pressure. Also he was a musician, but even entrepreneurs like Jody Sherman (Ecomom's Founder), Austen Heinz (Cambrian Genomics's Founder) and many more have suicided because of high pressure too. Fame isn’t bad, but know your limits. In chasing success, don’t lose yourself. "One day you'll leave this world behind, So live a life you will remember." -Avicii ◢◤
