Before, I used to wonder why most big companies set up in tier 1 cities—despite the high rents, heavy expenses, pollution, and chaos. Seemed stupid. But after doing business in a rural area, I get it now. Skilled human resources are insanely hard to find, the ROI is low, and there’s a huge gap in professionalism and trained talent. The hustle might be cheaper in villages, but the output rarely matches up.
