It feels like a lot of Indian startups are just repackaged versions of Silicon Valley ideas — Uber for X, Airbnb for Y, Amazon for Z. But India has completely different cultural, economic, and infrastructural realities. Do we need to stop blindly following Western models and start innovating for India's unique needs? If so, what are some real, actionable things we can do to encourage more India-first innovation?
