Please finish your degree. While it's true that some developers succeed without degrees, having one still matters significantly - especially for career growth and international opportunities. That said, mechanical engineering + programming skills can be incredibly valuable in certain sectors. I've seen mechanical engineers who code get hired quickly for specialized roles in manufacturing automation, simulation, and product development. If you drop out now, you'll forever be explaining that decision in interviews.
