I'll go with MVP/ prototype because it gives me the validation for my idea whether the idea works or is it just a bluff product. I'd suggest to go with MVP even if you are full of confidence on your product and it saves a lot of time than building a final one. Unless you have grit to start your idea and there'd be no looking back, I'd suggest you to go with MVP. What would happen in the worst case scenario is, the idea turns out to be bad which is indirectly saving you a lot more time and you could just get back to another or improvise the existing ones.
