honestly the wildest part of this whole story is how it actually worked. like dude just casually rerouted billions from a sovereign fund and threw parties with hollywood celebs?? and no one blinked until years later?? absolutely cooked system.

Exactly! And the answer to why everyone stayed silence was because everyone got their 'share'. While researching i found out that Goldmann Sachs got about 20x the commission from 1MDB which they generally get in a deal of similar size. Also Jho carefully kept the name of the shell companies similar to the big ones like Black Rock Commodity Investments Ltd so the transaction looked legit. In reality it's just because of the currupt system that people get away with these scams. And btw Jho Low would still be living a lavish lifestyle in some private island with the funds Which were meant to be used for Development of Malaysia.
