Yes, but that's a typical Indian Investor's PE mindset. To build hardware focused solutions, you need to have someone invested before you prove the technology. That's precisely the reason why we have only a 1000 deeptech startups, and an equal or more number who moved out of India for better prospects in the last 2 years alone. India doesn't have the appetite or the capital available for High Risk. High Reward research.

True. It's like you need a job for experience and need experience for a job. Given this reality, what do you think are the most possible solutions? Better utilisation/access to government grants? Or different pitching strategies needed from founders? Better investor education?
