Want to petent one of my idea but somebody told me if u r not directly connected with product manufacturing or part of same firm,only u r using product will not give u authorization to patent my idea is it true or false pls suggest me.

You should be the person who made/invented/innovated the product - then you can patent that idea (also the product have to be unique not anything that's already made)
