Let’s ground this with a quick reality check of India’s current economic and employment landscape: Employment Distribution (Approximate 2023): Agriculture – 45.8% Industry – 24.3% Services – 29.9% GDP Contribution by Sector: Services – 54.7% Industry – 27.6% Agriculture – 17.7% There’s a clear imbalance — a huge chunk of our workforce is in agriculture, but it contributes the least to GDP. Meanwhile, services lead the economy, and industry is where manufacturing and scale reside.
