I have a question for all of you: Why don’t we see more young people considering politics as a career? What are the pros and cons that make Indian youth stay away from the most influential sector? Many of you might have thought about becoming a philanthropist, starting an NGO, or doing something impactful for society — but why not do all of that by becoming a leader?

there's a very high entry barrier. Which happens through connections. To build those connections, it takes a lot of time. Thats the only young ones you will see are directly sons or daughters of politicians.
