Being a CV based AI founder myself, I can assure you India will never be a leader in AI. No money in India for innovation. Companies that build chatbots using Chatgpt APIs are getting funded but people building models from.scratch are asked to get a revenue of about USD200K. So yeah never will we be seen as an AI country but just as a cheap labour country.
