General query really.. People who comment as "Anonymous" how is that building your social presence?

Hey I was wondering how banning anonymous works on medial, algorithm don't know anything exactly about anonymous posts so how does the algorithm works in this case, does it only removes the anonymous post and the original account stays unbanned
