Free open-source alternatives to save LAKHS!!! Replacing Notion: Notion became more and more disorganized attempting to be the all in one platform, so I replaced it with: Docmost for documentation, Plane for project management, and Strapi for content management. Automations: Zapier and Make became slow as our workflows grew. n8n was a better replacement with unlimited self-hosted workflows and powerful AI functionality. Data Management: Whereas Airtable was good, Nood DB's Community Edition provides us with the same functionality with the added advantage of having full control over the data. Analytics: The most unexpected boost was from the replacement of Amplitude and PostHog by a plain old PostgreSQL database and Grafana charts. This homebrew analytics solution provided quicker, more precise, and highly tailorable insights. Most exciting perhaps is DeepSeek, an open-source AI model similar to ChatGPT but needing less resources. Did I forget anything, please inform me in the comments.......
