China has allowed flying taxis for commercial use. EHang Holdings and Hefei Hey Airlines have received the first-ever authorization from Chinese regulators to operate flying taxis. Both businesses are authorized to provide commercial passenger services, such as city sightseeing excursions, using unmanned aerial vehicles. China's low-altitude economy, estimated to be worth 1.5 trillion yuan, will benefit from the move.
