Am I the only one wondering what kind of attendance app this is? The monetization strategy should totally depend on who's using it and for what. If it's for schools or businesses, ads would be completely inappropriate and would make your product look unprofessional. In that case, you should be looking at a proper B2B model with monthly subscriptions or site licenses. If it's for personal use like tracking gym visits, then maybe ads make sense. Context matters enormously here, and it's impossible to give good advice without knowing who your users actually are.
