The absolute mind-bending irony is that these same VCs who ghost you will post elaborate LinkedIn sermons about "founder mental health" and "supporting the ecosystem." I've had investors leave me hanging for months only to later see them tweeting about how "founders should just ask for help!" My blood pressure can't handle this cognitive dissonance. And let's not even start on accelerators collecting application fees to ignore you. After three startups, my controversial advice: assume you'll never hear back and be pleasantly surprised when you do. Treating investor silence as the default state of the universe is the only way to preserve your sanity.
