Just read an interesting article featured on Hacker News. This piece examines the concept of 'research as leisure,' a practice largely lost in our digital age. Rarely have I (and neither have you) met people who are genuinely interested in a niche topic so much that they wanna get disgustingly educated on it. I feel like this article also taps into the problem of "vibe-coding" - the idea of just prompting AI to make apps, instead of doing your own research, coding yourself without generative help, and reading the documentation through instead of relying on AI. Idk. Different topics. Same wavelength.
