We love to drink tea in mud kulhads. But do we realise what happens to the kulhads that are used. We expect they will go back to the soil. But clay to ceramic is an irreversible process that never turns back to clay again. It takes decades to degrade. However they turn to porous soil that are not of the same quality as clay. So if the ceramic never turns to clay, we could surely make it into something else which could be more useful. We could use it to make chips. We could make it to dust, mix in bricks and make it a replacement for sand for construction. Research shows that this dust makes bonding better in concrete. I would make a system to collect used kulhads, process them, grind them and sell it as construction material. I had this idea. But I don't know how feasible this might be. I am open to feedback.
