WELBE: My Startup Story (Part 1) "The idea for WELBE popped into my head when I was going through a really tough time. I was feeling down, having bad thoughts, and I didn't know what was happening to me. I was just a kid. I tried to find answers on Google, trying to understand my feelings. I used meditation apps and talked to therapists, but I couldn't find anything that really explained what I was going through and how to feel better. That's when I thought of WELBE š. I wanted to help people like me, who were struggling but didn't know why or how to cope. I wanted to create something that focused on overall mental wellness. I started designing the app in Figma. But then, I thought I couldn't build it. I didn't know anything about tech, and I didn't understand how to make an app or website. So, I gave up on WELBE š. But a few months later, I was working as an intern for a company in the US, doing social media, marketing, and design. I told my boss about WELBE, and she asked, 'Did you build the website?' I said no, I had given up. She said, 'Try to prove your idea is good and build a simple version of it.' I didn't know what that meant š . So, I Googled it and started learning about startups. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and listened to podcasts. I realized I needed to try to build WELBE. Then, in April 2024, I joined MEDIAL. It changed everything. At first, I didn't understand what it was. But over time, I started to ask for help and share what I knew, becoming a content creator. During showcasing my another idea of sustainability I met people who wanted to start a recycling business, and I joined them. But we didn't all agree, so it didn't work out. However, I found a person in that team who believed in WELBE, and we started planning. I also met my tech partner on MEDIAL, and we're working on it now. I really think MEDIAL helped me start my project. It gave me people I could trust. I'll be back with part 2 of my story soon. Stay tuned, MEDIAL friends!" follow for more.
