⚠️ India needs more trees!!!! While doomscrolling on Instagram, I found a video discussing how a prof. mapped all the trees in Mangalore with just 1.5L. I was like we scaled this idea with tech, gamification and crowdsourcing. I need your help in validating and kickstarting this project. Here is a simple idea. An app where users can click a photo of a tree and the leaf, fill in basic info and geotag the place to register a tree. Users can see the progress on their app, they can build their own kingdom of trees, and even name a cluster after them. The collected data can be cleaned and run through AI models and can be used in policymaking, urban planning, research etc. Now let's talk about revenue. Just like metro stations, we can sell naming rights of certain clusters to corporates for a small fee. e.g. Aarey Colony, Tata Aarey Zone 1 etc. 🗨️ Please share your valuable thoughts and ideas. 🌍Play your part to save our planet by sharing this post.
