“𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗵 𝗮𝗮𝗴𝘆𝗮, 𝗮𝗯 𝗮𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗸𝘆𝗮?” We usually as first time founders think, if we have identified a problem let's build a solution and we’ll be viral overnight. But reality hits hard too soon. Nobody uses the million dollar solution we're building. When I started Reway, I didn’t just assume there was a problem. I went out and talked to people. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. I spoke to multiple recyclers small, big, organised, unorganised. Met policymakers to understand regulations. Visited kabadiwalas in local markets, saw how they collected e-waste. Asked sellers why they didn’t recycle—lack of awareness? No incentives? Too complex? Every conversation gave me insights 𝗻𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱. Market validation isn’t about surveys and reports. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆. If you have a startup idea, do this: 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗼𝘂𝘁. Talk to 10 potential users. Then 50. Then 100. 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻-𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Let them tell you their struggles. 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸. The real pain points are in their words. Data is great. But real conversations are better. Got an idea but unsure if the market is real? 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. PS: If you're working in sustainability/climate tech/ waste management industry, let's connect! #startups #customerinsights #problemsolving #reway

“Bhai, startup karna hai, par idea nahi aa raha.” I get this DM a lot. I get it. Been there. In my 1st year, I had zero startup ideas just the urge to build. So, I stopped chasing ‘the next big thing’ and started noticing everyday problems. One da
