Industry myth-busting: Is the Indian auto service market ready for tech-driven solutions? People say the auto service industry can’t go fully online because customers want that “physical touch” when it comes to their vehicles. But let’s break this down: 🔹 Pricing transparency: Many believe customers only trust local garages for the best deals. Reality? Most people don’t even know if they’re overpaying. If an online platform cracks transparent pricing, people will shift. 🔹 Service trust issues: “Will the mechanic do a good job? Will they use genuine parts?” These doubts exist whether it's online or offline. The difference is that a tech-driven platform can offer standard pricing, verified mechanics, and genuine parts with warranties, something random local garages often don’t. 🔹 Customer habits: People once thought no one would buy clothes or groceries online. Look at Flipkart, Amazon, and Zepto now. The shift happens when convenience meets reliability. Auto services aren’t any different. All of this will only work if online platforms can crack pricing and execution because that’s the tough part. If they do, the online auto industry will boom. And that’s exactly what I’m trying with Wheeloy. What do you think? Is the industry ready for this change?
