Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has laid the foundation stone for Amara Raja’s manufacturing units at the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Divitipally, Mahabubnagar, Telangana. Amara Raja is investing ₹9,500 crore over five years to establish a 16 GW cell manufacturing facility and a 5 GW battery pack plant on a 262-acre site. The project is expected to generate around 9,000 direct and indirect jobs, boosting local employment and the EV ecosystem.
