Having a co-founder can help your business to to focus on something things which are all taken care by you. If there are 6 things to be executed then both of you can implement 3-3 things with personal expertise which will eventually help in scaling.

start alone. I started mine few years closed because he was inactive just poured the money and expected me to work everytime. I did that too. Later we had an argument and closed the shop. I ended up paying 9 lakhs to him. Because while closing he told me return the money whatever I have invested. PLEASE START ALONE. It might be painful but it will be worth in the end.
