India is a country of aspirations. People love the sound of premium and love to indulge in premium irrespective of their affordable status. 'Paani' is a basic word they speak on daily basis everywhere including their homes. The feel of paying and using a word of common usage probably won't go together. In my opinion, if the packaged water business wants to position themselves as a brand, that should come up with a better sounding name. Shouldn't be more sophisticated but also shouldn't be literally the basic of words. SPARKLE, DROPLET, FROST, GLAZE, INDUS are some of my English name suggestions. NIRMAL, GANGA, TRISHNA, SHEETAL, TATVA are some Hindi name suggestions
